We loved the interactions with Tashi and Tshering who took us around, whereby we learnt quite a lot about the local culture, social life, administration and economy than we would have otherwise. They guided us with a lot of care and affection. Our holiday was one of leisure, where too many things were not crowded into the day, at the same time, we had sufficient time to visit all the monuments and scenic places that we wanted to. The treks in Punakha, Phobjikha and up Tiger's Nest were really amazing! Bhutan is so picturesque that our mobile cameras do not do justice to the pictures. We wound up our holiday with a traditional hot stone bath, which was really relaxing after the long trek to Tiger's nest. Kinley was always available for us to reach out to. My son’s flight got delayed and he missed the connection to Paro. She promptly organised a cab for us to reach Thimphu via Jaigoan by road. The guide and driver made our trip a most memorable one. They embodied the culture and grace of Bhutan- a beautiful Zen country every traveller should visit. It is a beautiful and charming country, inhabited by polite and helpful people. Our stay was also made enjoyable by the services we received from the tour agency, "The Call of The Dragon". In particular, we received great assistance from Mr Chandra and Mr Tashi. From the time we landed in Paro to the time we left Paro, they were with us, taking care of all our needs, explaining local customs and interpreting significance of various historical monuments. They even accompanied us for the river rafting and for all the hikes, including the one to Tigers Nest. Although we were unable to complete the entire hike, they were always there, encouraging us to try and complete the same. They even picked us up at an unearthly hour on the day of our return to India and dropped us at the airport, to enable us to catch an early morning flight back home. Once again, our sincere thanks to Mr Chandra and Mr Tashi and also to "The Call of The Dragon" for a memorable holiday. Yvonne WoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was a very memorable experience. We booked our travel and guide with Call of the Dragon through their website contact details. They responded and based my travel plans and prebooked stays they designed a travel itinerary that was quite appropriate for the 3 of us that included Paro, Thimphu,Punakha and Phuentsholing. They arranged a Creta that was ideal for the trip along with the driver and a guide who were with us for the entire trip. Tashi the driver and our guides (Rinzin for the first couple of days and Chandra for the other other days) we very accommodating and kept enquiring of our comfort and well being. We have the option of making small changes in our itinerary or day plan and per convenience or weather situations. The cost of the package was reasonable and also there whole trip was hassle free because of them. The owner Kinley also paid us a visit and was very courteous and professional. I highly recommend that we as Indians must visit Bhutan at least once and experience this beautiful country and its friendly and mindful people. We had only heard about the country of happiness but witnessing is a different level of achievement. Far away from traffic of Mumbai to a zone free of noise and air pollution our 8 days trip is a momento. As we entered Bhutan we were received with a warm welcome from Chandra Our guide and Tshering Our driver. I think the combination is super as they ensured that we are happy as the country defines its name. They gave us comfort throughout our trip. Driving through the beautiful mountains ,terrains , places explaning the importance of each place. While the trip was for Thimpu, Punaka , Paro Chandra took efforts to explain the other important places of the country so that we are aware about the places and they way it is connected. Chandra has an excellent command on his languages. His knowledge is not limited to only the places of visits but also for fruits , vegetables, trees ,leaves ,and everything connected to nature. That his passion that makes it more interesting to bring out the beauty. Tshering her driving is really commendable. Her smiles kept reflecting that life is beautiful ❤️. We had a lovely company of them and in these few days they made us feel like an extended family taking care of our small needs. A gift for lifetime as we remember Bhutan and it's places we will always have Chandra and Tshering in it. We wish them all the best in their endeavours with heartfelt gratitude 🥰🙏. Thank you Bhutan team. Carmen WingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Call of the Dragon is hands down one of the best tour companies I’ve come across. Their itineraries are amazing, covering all the must-see spots like Tiger’s Nest, Dochula Pass, and Thimphu. What really makes them stand out, though, is how flexible they are—you can tweak the plans to make the trip feel totally your own, which is such a nice touch. Tour guides are amazing—knowledgeable, friendly, and always ensuring visitors are comfortable. Exploring Bhutan felt more like traveling with a local friend than being on a tour. Each day was full of unforgettable experiences, from stunning views at Dochula to the magical temples lit up at night. If you’re planning a trip to Bhutan, I can’t recommend Call of the Dragon enough. They truly go above and beyond!
